Lucy's first fiction novel was called The Peace Garden and was published in 1989.  Deersnake followed in 1994 with The Penguin Friend released in 1997, the same year as the novel Black Ice. In 2003, The Revognase was published, which is part of the Quentaris series.

Lucy is has released a new collection of speculative fiction stories called A Tour Guide to Utopia and her current novel is called "Absolute Uncertainty".
