SD Harvey Award short-list PDF Print E-mail

Lucy's story The Fountain of Justice has been short-listed for the SD Harvey Award at the 2010 Ned Kelly Awards for Australian crime writing. Stories submitted for the award had to use the word 'fountain' in the title and story. The winner will be announced along with the rest of the Ned Kelly Awards on 3 September 2010.

Coming soon - A Week in the Future PDF Print E-mail

"A Week in the Future", a selection of classic Australian SF, is due for release soon. It is edited by Catherine Helen Spence and published by Aurealis Chimaera Publications. Lucy has written the introduction to this collection, which contains stories from the 1880s-1930s, including stories by Fergus Hume and Guy Boothby.

The Best of Lucy Sussex PDF Print E-mail

WA publisher, Ticonderoga Publications, has just announced it will be publishing a collection of the best of Lucy's fiction in 2011. Tentatively titled Matilda Told Such Dreadful Lies, the collection is expected to be issued in limited edition hardcover and trade editions. Visit Ticonderoga for details.

New story published in Baggage PDF Print E-mail

Lucy's latest story, Albert & Victoria/Slow Dreams, has just been published in Baggage edited by Gillian Pollack (Eneit Press 2010).
