Lucy's latest non-fiction work, Saltwater in the Ink: Voices from the Australian Seas, will be launched as part of the Melbourne Writers Festival 2010.

Lucy has collected the diaries and letters of English and European migrants to Australia in the 1800s. These 'Victorian blogs' are filled with tales of birth, death, shipwrecks, secret loves and courtship.
